EPHEMEMO-RIES PART 2: CITY THEATRE

The Cornershop presents the return of “EPHEMEMO-RIES”, a participatory AI art experience shaped by the memories of more than 500 people who shared their stories of Tsim Sha Tsui at The Cornershop in October 2025.

Each memory became part of a larger creative process, reimagined through artificial intelligence by Picture Rhythm Studios into more than 1,200 AI-generated images that came together as a shared visual story of the Tsim Sha Tsui community. The resulting works travelled across the border to Shenzhen, where they were presented at the 10th Urbanism/Architecture Bi-City Biennale with over 100 telephone-booth artworks, continuing a cross-city exchange of memories, urban life and culture.

Returning to The Cornershop this October, EPHEMEMO-RIES: PART 2 CITY THEATRE brings the journey full circle — from Hong Kong, to Shenzhen, and back to the place where it began.

This exhibition will tell the city’s stories through AI-generated visual art, installation, performance and participation, and transform The Cornershop through memories evolved into a final collective artwork.

On opening night, TS Crew, a Featured Artist Group of the Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo (HKPAX), will bring “City Theatre” to life through a one night only live performance that combines movement, visual art and urban storytelling.

The Cornershop 帶來《EPHEMEMO-RIES》的回歸，這項互動參與式人工智能藝術企劃，源自超過500位參加者於2025年10月在 The Cornershop 分享的尖沙咀故事與記憶。

每段記憶都成為整個創作過程的一部分，並由 Picture Rhythm Studios（@prsvisions）透過人工智能重新演繹，轉化成逾1,200幅AI生成影像，共同拼湊出屬於尖沙咀社區的集體視覺故事。其後，作品跨越香港來到深圳，於第十屆深港城市／建築雙城雙年展（UABB）展出，並與逾100件電話亭藝術作品一同呈現，延續一場關於城市記憶、生活與文化的跨城交流。

今年十月，《EPHEMEMO-RIES: PART 2 CITY THEATRE 城市劇場》將回到 The Cornershop，讓這段旅程從香港出發、走到深圳，再回到最初開始的地方，畫下完整句號。

展覽將透過AI生成視覺藝術、裝置、表演及觀眾參與訴說城市的故事，並將 The Cornershop 化身為承載城市記憶的舞台，讓一段段記憶演變並匯聚成最終的集體藝術作品。

開幕當晚，香港表演藝術博覽（HKPAX）的的香港代表藝術團體TS Crew 將帶來僅此一晚的現場演出，透過肢體動作、視覺藝術與城市敘事的結合，讓「City Theatre 城市劇場」正式展開。
